Modeling Opportunities with J.W. Johnson Photography

J.W. Johnson Photography is always searching for new talent - no modeling experience is required.

                                                    Requirements for potential models:

                                                                                                Good facial looks with clean skin.
                                                                                                Good body tone: slender, lean, toned, swimmers, or muscular build.
                                                                                                Great positive attitude and outlook on things in general.

Most models that I work with come to me by referral and have absolutely no experience in modeling. This is absolutely fine with me.
If you can provide your own means of travel to our St. Louis studio, I will provide you with the proper instruction and training.
A part-time modeling career might take you places and work out into other opportunities that you would not otherwise see.

The Mission

    Over the past sixteen years, J.W. Johnson Photography has been very instrumental in assisting many young men with starting a part-time modeling career. Some models have continued modeling on a part-time basis, while others start a full time career. I do not do this to make a lot of money, nor do I want to become rich and snub people. If we can assist our models and help them attain their modeling goals, then we are happy.  I cherish the countless new friends made while helping models pursue their dreams. One can never have enough good friends in life - I have been richly blessed by the Lord with good friends - models, fellow photographers, and producers. Professional work continues to evolve - directions change and sometimes goals change with it, but the work continues to flourish as does the journey to search for new models, new friends, and new direction.     At the same time, I can not make any promises or guarantees that you will be successful. In order to be successful, one has to give of themselves and give their all to make this work. Modeling is like other things, you will only get out of it, what you put into it. Give it your all and it will reward you back.

Magazines: International Male, Mens Workout, Mens Fitness, Exercise For Men Only, Exercise and Health, Natural Bodybuilding and Fitness, For Men, Playgirl, Mandate, Advocate Men, Freshmen.

Calendars: Raging Sensations, Men of Switzerland, Studs and Spurs, Denim.

Television and Video: Some of our models have interviewed for television and movie presentations through our industry contacts. Some models have gone on to become actors for Falcon, Studio 2000, and other erotic art video enterprises.

Other Media: Fine Art Galleries, Greeting Cards, Posters, and Wall Decor Artwork.

    I am available some weeknights and most weekends for photography sessions. If your session requires an overnight stay, I will assist you with lodging and meals while here.  You will also be provided with a set of prints so that you may start a modeling portfolio.
 
    Much of the work includes submissions of images to fine art galleries online, who market the images worldwide to private collectors of erotic male art. J.W. Johnson Photography splits the profit evenly with the model whose image has sold. I also refer models who desire to travel and shoot with professional contacts throughout the United States and around the world.  My contacts include photographers, art directors, and video producers, offering opportunities in fine art, calendar, underwear and swimwear fashion, editorial, and erotic work. Available opportunities are dependent upon a model`s looks, attitude, and directional desires. Professional modeling can receive good hourly fees, anywhere from $25 to $100 per hour, and in some cases, flat fees ranging from $150 to $2,500, as well as expenses for travel, lodging, and meals - depending on the type of work involved, and the location of the shoot.
